When recycled materials are made into new items, natural resources and the emissions used to manufacture new products are saved.

In 2017 alone, the United States generated roughly 41 million pounds of waste, which pollutes our water, soil and air. Composting leftover food items lowers the amount of trash produced, which in turn could save costs through waste disposal and trash pickups.
